WATER PRESERVATION
Water is the source of life.
Thus, with this simple hypothesis we can conclude that where there is water there must be no life.
Water is important.
Why?
Because water has a very large role in our survival. The water provides many benefits to our lives. With water we can eat, drink, washing, bathing, cleaning stuff, play, and so forth.
Then, has it ever occurred to you dipikiran what if we live in this world without water?
Although it seems trivial, but actually the water is a very important item for us.
Or, has it ever occurred to you that water always dipikiran bring benefits to our lives?
The answer is of course not.
This is due to our error in using, maintaining, and caring for the availability of water in daily life.
Water pollution impact, for example, can poison drinking water, poison pet food, an imbalance of the ecosystem of rivers and lakes, destruction of forests due to acid rain, and so forth.
In water bodies, rivers and lakes, nitrogen and phosphate (from agricultural activities) have led to the growth of aquatic plants that are out of control (excessive eutrophication). This led to the explosive growth of oxygen, which should be shared by the whole animal / plant water is reduced. When aquatic plants die, their decomposition sucks more oxygen. As a result, the fish will die, and the bacterial activity decreased.
What is causing all this happen?
There are many factors that cause it, but certainly it's all caused by the negligence of us as human beings in caring for and preserving what has been bestowed by God Almighty.
Then, after realizing the folly of all this, we are still to be awarded this thought should be changed. We have to change, try to think with all the potential of common sense that we have to be done to save the continuity of water conservation in the face of this earth.
Some things we can do include:
A. Conserve water.
2. Disposing of waste in place.
3. Conduct proper waste treatment.
4. Running reforestation to maintain forest sustainability.
5. Prevent illegal logging.
6. Socialization about how important the role of water in human life.
7. Remove the illegal mining system without considering the balance of the ecosystem.
8. Cleaning the water sources clean of all trash.
9. Create an environment that is beautiful, with the start of our own home environment.
10. Maintain the stability of water supply in the soil.

AIR PRESERVATION
Air is vital for life, because every organism need air to breathe. You knowing that in the air contained a wide variety of gas, one of them oxygen. The air is dirty because of dust or any smoke residue cause the oxygen levels reduced. This situation is very dangerous for the survival
the life of every organism. It is necessary strived to keep tips fresh air for environment stay clean, fresh, and healthy. Effort can be done to keep the air clean and healthy include:
1) Promote the planting of trees or ornamental plants around we
Plants can absorb gases harmful to humans.
Plant capable of producing oxygen through photosynthesis.
Causes of forest destruction millions of plants disappear, so
production of oxygen to the atmosphere much reduced, in addition plant also release water vapor, so that the humidity will remain awake.

2) Promote the reduction emission or disposal of residual gas combustion

SOIL PRESERVATION
The occurrence of landslides and floods show events related to land issues.
Flooding has caused soil erosion by water is called erosion affecting the loss of soil fertility and soil erosion from the earth's surface.
Landslides are caused because there is no longer an element that holds soil in place, giving rise to damage.
If it is allowed to continue, it is not impossible if the environment is turned into a barren desert.
To maintain the stability of soil in sloping areas and to reduce soil erosion, it may take a few steps are as follows:
a. Terracing, the pattern of farming with terraces system (multilevel) to prevent soil erosion.
b. Contour farming, the planting of land according to the contour line (slope), so the roots can hold the soil from erosion.
c. Making levee pairs (guludan) to restrain the rate of erosion.
d. Contour plowing, plowing the direction of the contour line, so that there was horizontal grooves to prevent erosion.
e. Contour strip cropping, the planting by dividing the areas of land in the form of elongated and narrow in shape following the contour lines that twist. Each planted with different plant species in Intermittent (intercropping).
f. Crop rotation, the business turnover of plant species so that the soil does not run out of one nutrient, due to continuously absorbed by one type of plant.

Forest Preservation
The Bosque Lluvioso Río Costa Rica will ultimately protect between 4000 and 5000 acres of primary rain forest lands in central Costa Rica.
DendroThe economic foundation of the project rests upon the development of the Bosque Lluvioso Exploratory, a science and education-based rain forest facility to be constructed on a 30-acre, previously cleared portion of the forest. The Exploratory includes an Academy or school for Costa Rican and international students and researchers interested in participating with INBio on projects under their direct supervision.
The project is also an ecotourism facility with a number of hands-on, interactive features for exploring the rain forest. While the Bosque Lluvioso Exploratory promises to be a uniquely entertaining research station on the principles of sustainable architecture and design, our main goal is the permanent protection of a large tract of primary forest lands contiguous to the Braulio Carrillo National Park.
In Keeping with current notions of "best practices" regarding forest restoration, the Bosque Lluvioso Project seeks to restore tropical rain forests in several ways. First, in a far reaching watershed restoration strategy, the Bosque will acquire additional acres of contingent land tracts thereby expanding and protecting an important extension of biological corridors in Central America. These lands represent a patchwork of varying degrees of forest degradation and are natural laboratories for studying ecological succession of tropical rain forest and restoration technologies. The forest corridors are essential to the long-term preservation of biodiversity for countless plant, animal, amphibian and insect species in the Western Hemisphere.
Second, forest restoration will increase the share of rain forest that will be utilized, thus ensuring a more stable hydrologic balance throughout the Bosque landscape and to communities downstream. A portion of secondary rain forest lands will be perpetually protected and available for studies of ecological succession and restoration techniques. As part of the overall strategy to "restart rainforest", degraded portions of the acquired landscapes will be made available for proper ecological succession research and demonstration projects in forest restoration technologies, multi-cropping/forest farming techniques, sustainable agriculture, food and medicinal crop research and ecotourism education. The technologies of tropical forest restoration will have wide application well beyond the boundaries of the Bosque project. The practical application of the research will be incorporated in the interactive education programs of the Exploratory pavilions.
